Uniform and Dress Code Policies
In the spirit of safety, health, and caring, all Morris Jeff students and staff are required to wear masks or face coverings in school this upcoming 2020-2021 school year. One of Morris Jeff’s core values and attributes of the IB Learner Profile is caring – showing empathy, compassion, and respect towards the feelings and needs of others. We all need to feel as safe as possible in this new COVID environment. Wearing masks/face coverings indicates we care about each other’s well-being and want to protect each other from potential COVID spread and/or other contagious germs. Students may wear face coverings or masks from home or MJCS branded masks from our uniform vendor (Poree’s Embroidery), and the school will also provide disposable masks to students who arrive without them.
Also, in order to alleviate spending for families in light of the economic impact of COVID-19, for the 2020-2021 school year only, students may wear blue jeans (no holes, slits, etc) and a Morris Jeff shirt or polo, Morris Jeff t-shirt, or Morris Jeff athletic shirt, as part of the official school uniform any day of the week. Students may also wear a sweater, jacket, or sweatshirt without the Morris Jeff brand if families desire.
Uniforms are required for in-person learning only.
