As a Type 5 Charter school, Morris Jeff Community School uses the OneApp process (Recovery School District application) for accepting new students to our school.

Families who are applying for a Pre-K 4 seat must complete the application online. Families applying for K and higher grades can apply online or in person. Please visit for more information. The school is happy to accept paper applications and also make computer use available to families as needed.

The timeline for the applications process is below:

  • November 1, 2017 – Application launches – Applications are available at the school – or parents may go to to complete and submit the application.
  • February 23, 2018 – Deadline to apply for 2018-2019 school year
  • April 2018 – Notification letters will be mailed out
  • April 11, 18 and 24, 3-6 PM – Bring notification letter to Morris Jeff front office to enroll your child online with the assistance of the registration staff
  • May 11, 2018 – Deadline to enroll student for 2018-19 school year (main round only)
