Malani Butler (’24) and Jonah Jeansonne (’24) each received a 2024 POSSE Leadership Scholarship valued at over $300,000 and were recognized at a recent awards ceremony. Learn more about POSSE here.
Malani has decided to attend Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) where she plans to major in biochemistry and minor in marine biology. She hopes to become a medical doctor. Malani balances her highly vigorous IB Diploma Programme classes with active participation in the volleyball, soccer, and track and field teams.
Jonah has decided to pursue his studies at Villanova University (PA) where he plans to major in psychology. He wants to help people to overcome obstacles related to mental health, personal growth, and interpersonal relationships. Jonah is also pursuing the highly rigorous IB Diploma. He is captain of the swim and cross country teams, and participates in soccer and track and field. We are proud of each of you and wish you all the best!
