“Due to the hard freeze warning expected this evening through tomorrow morning, NOLA Public Schools (NOLA-PS) will be closed tomorrow, January 17. The district will continue monitoring weather conditions in collaboration with city agencies. Decisions for Thursday will be made based on the latest information received.
As temperatures drop this evening, we are asking our school family to make sure they are protecting their home and pets, and checking on their family. We encourage families to visit ready.nola.gov for winter weather tips and prep guidance.”
Report card distribution and conferences are postponed until January 24, 2024.
All high school sports games and practices are canceled until school resumes.
