Family Orientations: Thursday, July 27
High school families (by grade level) are invited to the new campus to meet staff, administrators and tour the school. Attendees will learn about academics, graduate aims, culture & discipline, athletics, extracurriculars, and IB. This session will allow families to prepare and partner with the school for greater success for their student(s).

5:00 – 6:00 PM – 9th families
6:30 – 7:30 PM – 10th & 11th families

Student Orientations: Friday, July 28
This is a timed session for students only to receive information specific to grade level and the upcoming year in high school. The purpose is to inform students of the academic and school culture of MJCS, discuss the graduate aims and provide a tour of the new building and grounds. Students will be prepared for first day of school by attending.

8:30 – 10:00 AM – 9th students only
11:30 – 1:00 PM – 10th students only
1:30 – 2:30 PM – 11th students only
2:45 – 3:45 PM – 12th students only

SCHEDULE DAY: Monday, July 31
Schedule Day is when families and students come to school to get student’s class schedule, meet staff and students, sign up for extracurriculars, pay school fees, complete forms and get prepared for the school year! Students and families drop in during the specified time for their grade level. Students must be ready to take a photo for their school ID.

8:00 – 10:00 AM – 9th students & families
10:00 AM – NOON – 10th students & families
12:30 – 2:00 PM – 11th students & families
2:00 – 4:00 PM – 12th students & families

SENIOR Family Orientation: Tuesday, August 1, 5:30 – 6:30 PM – 12th families
Families of12th grade students are invited to the new high school campus for Senior Night. Attendees will meet staff, administration and tour the school. Attendees will learn about our academics, graduate aims, culture & discipline, athletics, and IB. Attendees will receive information specific to the senior year, such as special events (ie. Ring Ceremony, Prom, Senior Awards, Graduation) as well as post-secondary counseling, and graduation requirements.
