Incredible news from our Middle School Band!
At the Louisiana Music Educators Association District VI Instrumental Large Ensemble Assessment Festival on March 18, 2024, our Seventh Grade Band wowed the judges with all superiors on stage and an excellent in sight reading!
But wait, it gets even better – our Eighth Grade Band snagged the first sweepstakes trophy of the event with straight Superiors in all categories!
Out of 23 bands from the NOLA area, only 10 achieved an overall Superior rating like our 7th grade, and our 8th grade was one of just 6 bands to earn the sweepstakes trophy. Huge shoutout to the band for their hard work and talent!
