As an International Baccalaureate World School, Morris Jeff Community School offers the Primary Years Programme (Pre-K through Grade 5), which encourages the natural curiosity of children and ties subject matter together in a meaningful, applicable manner through inquiry. Faculty at Morris Jeff has developed cross-disciplinary units of study which allow students to form connections across the subjects. Along with the standard core subjects of language arts, math, science, and social studies, students receive instruction in Spanish and the arts daily. The framework of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) allows all students to participate in research, independent and small group projects, and presentations, culminating with the Exhibition at the end of students’ fifth-grade year.
