Background Checks
Typically, background checks are required for all volunteers working with children. All volunteers working with children must be over 18 years of age or older. Background checks are good for 3 years. Volunteers are required to complete a background check before volunteering with our students and are asked to maintain renewal as needed.
Background checks can be completed in the front office. A state-issued identification card and $5.00 are required to complete the process. Cash, check, money order, or credit card are accepted. Background checks issued from the police department are also accepted.
