We are incredibly proud to share two extraordinary accomplishments from our senior class that exemplify our graduate aims we hold dear. Tristan Yates and Hope McDonald have both demonstrated a commitment to excellence in all that they do, inspiring their peers and making us all proud.
Tristan has been awarded the highly competitive Posse Scholarship to Tulane University. This prestigious, full-tuition leadership scholarship, awarded through the Posse Foundation, is a testament to Tristan’s exceptional academic achievements, his leadership qualities, and his unwavering commitment to personal and community growth. Tristan's journey is a shining example of what it means to be a relentless learner, an empowered dreamer, and a global citizen, and we are so proud to celebrate this achievement with him.
In addition, we are thrilled to announce that Hope has been awarded a full scholarship to Grinnell College through the QuestBridge National College Match Program. Hope’s selection as one of only 2,600 finalists from over 25,000 applicants nationwide is a remarkable testament to her academic excellence and personal integrity. Hope embodies the qualities of an equity champion, standing out not only for her academic achievements but for her deep commitment to creating a more just and equitable world.
Both Tristan and Hope reflect not only their hard work and dedication but also the core values of our school community. They have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in all that they do, inspiring their peers and making us all proud. We are grateful for their contributions and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
Congratulations once again to Tristan and Hope, and to all our students, staff, and families who continue to support and encourage each other on this remarkable journey of growth and achievement.
