On what should have been a day of celebration for our seniors, a horrific tragedy occurred following graduation on Tuesday. We grieve with the family of Augustine Greenwood and all others affected. NOPD is investigating and informing the public what it finds. We are a strong school community and will help each other heal. Counseling support is available to our staff and students.
Every day, we teach our students to solve their differences with their words and to be compassionate toward each other. Our graduates will make a difference in this world because they learn to see each other as equal human beings. This resolve is only stronger now. Our commitment to our students is steadfast and we will get through this together.
