The Morris Jeff Family Partnership is hosting a training on Saturday, Nov. 18th from 8-4:30pm in partnership with Overcoming Racism, a New Orleans-based non-profit that “seeks to build more equitable institutions, through comprehensive race and equity training.”
The Morris Jeff teachers and staff have been receiving training from this organization as part of their professional development this school year, so we are offering this training for parents / guardians in hopes of starting a school and community wide conversation about race and equity in education.
This training is free to all participants and childcare and food will be provided. In order to ensure all interested parents / guardians have an opportunity to attend, we are asking all interested participants to please fill out this form by this Friday, Nov. 3rd. You will be notified by next week with more details.
