11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Our annual Feria de Primavera is an exciting school-wide celebration with endearing student performances, delicious food and drinks intermingled with fun, games and community! This year, we continue to embrace and weave our Latin influences throughout the entire event. Our food lineup includes boiled crawfish from the WatchDogs, grilled burgers, quesadillas from Juan’s Flying Burrito (all Juan’s proceeds go to the 10th grade Costa Rica trip), a return of our famous tostadas and more! Enjoy hot, fresh popcorn and icy cold delights from Kona Ice. The usual drinks for adults and kids are available plus a few new specialities that are bound to become crowd favorites.
The Feria provides fun activities for every member of the family. Returning this year are big attractions, the maze and rock wall. We continue the new tradition of prize tokens and our prize table. We are getting more artistic with a complementary art area and sidewalk chalk in the parking lot. Leave your mark on MJCS! New this year is a sand art station with necklaces and keychains available for both tickets and prize tokens. Our handmade classic carnival games continue to be a main attraction. Express yourself by getting your face painted. Place your bid on any of the bountiful themed baskets in the silent auction. There’s certain to be one that fits your family’s interests. And for those of us who need everything to be a little more low key, our quiet/sensory area will be available for a nice place to chill out.
New this year! Community entertainment and Los Pelicanos will perform on Cleveland. Pull up a chair or bring a blanket to enjoy our new Community Stage.

The Feria is most fun when everyone volunteers to join in the fun! All help is welcomed! Peruse the extensive list of volunteer opportunities and sign up HERE.
Unable to volunteer? Here’s a fantastic alternative — make a $30 monetary donation to the upcoming San Antonio student trip and we’ll recruit a 7th grade student volunteer to take your shift. Students are excited to offset the cost of their trips with volunteer hours! You can take care of this online HERE!
