Morris Jeff recognizes that the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) defines gifted students as those who demonstrate abilities that indicate high performance in academic and intellectual areas. In addition, the LDOE defines talented students as those possessing measurable abilities that give clear evidence of unique talent in visual or performing arts or both. Morris Jeff screens students annually every spring to determine eligibility for gifted and/or talented services.
