Our Commitment to Inclusive Practices
Morris Jeff is committed to diversity in education and providing a child-centered learning environment that fosters personal, creative, and academic excellence.
We believe inclusive environments are the best for students to learn and grow. All students learn best with peers from various backgrounds and experiences. Daily interactions between students with differences build our students’ empathy for others, increase their ability to see other people’s perspectives and allow our students to understand cultures different from their own. At Morris Jeff, we believe that inclusion does not just apply to students with disabilities but all students who require support to develop their talents fully.
We believe that all Morris Jeff staff are responsible for all students' success, regardless of their needs.
The teachers, student support staff, and teaching assistants collaborate and deliver instruction effectively using research-based strategies and instructional models that support inclusion, including Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
