Please join the Morris Jeff Family Partnership on Thursday September 29th for our monthly parent/family meeting along with a fun movie night for kids!

5:30 – 6:30pm: Social & Pizza in Cafeteria
6:30 – 8pm: Meeting & Movie
Where: Food & Meeting in Cafeteria, Movie upstairs
Cost: Event is FREE, Food will be available for Purchase: Pizza $1/slice, Juice or Soda $1

Meeting Agenda:

· What to Expect from IB – Miss Smith will provide a brief overview of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, with a focus on the IB unit that begins October 3rd and runs through that month. This is a great opportunity for families to understand what makes IB special, and how you can contribute to your child’s learning experience during this unit.

· Nominations & Elections to fill vacant Treasurer position for 2011-12 MJFP Steering Team

· Update on Playground

· Open Discussion – An opportunity to ask questions or raise concerns about procedures and policies at Morris Jeff.

There will be supervision for kids watching the movie, while the meeting is taking place. There is no cost for this service. The meeting and movie will start promptly at 6:30pm.

Back to School Picnic

Our new School Year is off to a great start! Please join the Morris Jeff Family Partnership for an evening of fun and friends as we enjoy a picnic at City Park. This is a great opportunity to meet other Morris Jeff families. The Morris Jeff Family Partnership has a few family-oriented activities, including a raffle! Please bring a picnic dinner, blankets and chairs for your family. Feel free to bring games to enjoy with other families.

Where: City Park, in the area between the main playground and the Parkview Café, located on Dreyfous Drive. From City Park Avenue, enter the park on Anseman Avenue and turn right onto Dreyfous Drive, the Playground is on your right.
